About Mr. Reedy

Mr. Bob Reedy has 37 years of experience in education, construction, design, event management, database programming and web site development.  Mr. Reedy holds a master's degree in technical/educational computing, a bachelor's degree in industrial technology.  Mr. Reedy has worked for the Colton Joint Unified School District as the Career Technical and Work Experience Education Coordinator, Digital High School Coordinator, School to Careers Coordinator and taught Architectural - Technical Computer Aided Drafting.  He now coordinates and teaches Work Experience Education.  As the CTE coordinator he monitored the Perkins funds, developed the Career Technical Education Partnership and implemented Total Quality Managed strategies within the Career Technical Education department.  Mr. Reedy has taught many different seminars for several organizations throughout California over the past 20 years.

Between 1996 and 2001 Mr. Reedy was the Executive Director of the   California Association of SkillsUSA.  In that capacity he took a struggling association, incorporated it as a legal nonprofit and directed it for five years.  He actively recruited Business and Industry Leaders to serve on the SkillsUSA Board of Directors.  He oversaw three hourly employees and contracted 14 others to provide member services throughout the state.  He coordinated several State level conferences with over 1300 attendees.  Currently Mr. Reedy is the Bloomington High School Chapter Advisor.  In the past three years in that capacity he assisted 8 students to place in the top ten in the nation in SkillsUSA Championship contests.

Currently, Mr. Reedy serves at the California Association of Work Experience Educators Inland Chapter Past President and is a past Southern California Representative to the State Association.  He was a publicly elected Director of his local park and recreation district from 2002 to December 2009.  During the last five years of his terms he Chaired the Rim of the World Recreation and Park District Board of Directors.  He has served on the board of the Inland Empire Employer Advisory Council and is a Past President of the California Drafting Teachers Consortium.

Recently Mr. Reedy has been working on a California Association of Work Experience Educators committee to create a California Minor Work Permit Certification course and test.  He taught the first course this past fall and administered the first test where all attendees passed the test.

During the past 37 years in his spare time he was heavly involved in coaching.  Mr. Reedy has experience coaching Basketball, Golf and Track and Field.

Personal interest include playing golf, play guitar and 7 grand kids.
